More than 200 Retirees and guests were treated to a five-hour party at the Eastwood Manor in the Bronx on Dec. 5, 2025 to launch the holiday season in style. The festivities began with a gala cocktail hour, open bar and music, followed by a full sit-down dinner and dessert.
RA Director James Whalen, Manager Barry Roberts, RA Staff Coordinator Shalena Lindsey, and staffers Victoria Griss and Carolyn Surian made sure everyone had a memorable experience.
Local 100 President John Chiarello greeted guests and creditied the retirees with building TWU. Other guests included Local 100 Administrative Vice President Alexander Kemp. Recording Secretary Shirley Martin and CED officer Joan Bygrave. Also, RA Executive Board members Emily Louise Allen, Deloris Frazier, James Manzella, and Theresa Green.
RA member Clyburn Sowell, 101-years old, was greeted warmly and received a standing ovation.
