Local 100 President Richard Davis has named James Whalen Director of the Retirees Association to replace James Manzella, who has served in that post for the past year. Manzella announced his desire to leave the post for personal family reasons at the Association’s Executive Board meeting on February 22, 2024 at union headquarters in Brooklyn.

Association Director James Manzella has published a 4-page comparison of current plans for Medicare eligible retirees with the new options negotiated as part of the pending Local 100 contract with the MTA for TA/OA and MTA Bus retirees. The contract is being sent out to a vote of the active membership for ratification. Changes will
